Tumunui Deer is a 380 hectare property situated in the central north island of New Zealand, 10 minutes south of Rotorua city.It is a commercially operated Red Deer farm using top quality genetics to produce the best in Venison and Velvet.

Tumunui Deer is capably managed by Bob and Robyn Foster.
Bob and Robyn have three daughters, Stacey 23 years, Jodie 22 years, and Megan aged 13 years.

We are developing a Pure Woburn Elite herd to enhance our English bloodline. Other bloodlines include James, Buccaneer, Ramasses,and Romulus. Tumunui Deer has a large velvetting herd incorporating Woburn and Warnham bloodlines, which we believe, produce the best weighing and grading velvet.

Tumunui Deer is no longer having its annual weaner sale.
The weaners are being transferred to the Trust farm at Atiamuri , for finishing to the freezing works.

The weaner sale will be replaced by the sale of a small number of elite /stud weaners , depending on the availability of weaners and the interest from the market.

Tumunui Deer has a policy of always purchasing the best genetics to produce the ultimate gains in production for velvet and venison.
